Jubail Island sits between Saadiyat and Yas, and most of it is low-density: wide plots, large villas and long driveways. That is good for living, but it changes how a move is done. Homes here usually have more furniture, more bedrooms and more outdoor pieces than a standard flat in the city, so the crew size, truck size and number of hours need to be right before moving day, not decided on the doorstep.
We ask a few questions up front: which village, villa or apartment, how many bedrooms, whether there is a majlis, outdoor furniture, a home gym or a piano, and which floor you are moving from or to. With that, the quote you get is the quote you pay.
Jubail Island is built as six separate villages. Each one has a different type of home, so each one is a slightly different job.
Jubail Terraces is the low-rise apartment community at Souk Al Jubail, with studios up to three-bedroom units and duplexes. We handle lift protection, wall and door padding, and parking arrangements so the move stays within building rules. Check with your building management for lift booking and move-in hours before your date.
A family-focused village with parks, pools and sports courts. Typical jobs are three to five bedroom villas: full packing, wardrobe and bed dismantling, kitchen and children's rooms, and garden furniture.
Larger waterfront villas near the beach side of the island. These moves often include outdoor sets, large mirrors and artwork, and heavy dining tables that need careful wrapping.
The marina village with its promenade, yacht club and waterfront homes. We plan truck access and timing around shared roads and busier weekend hours.
A quieter village close to the mangroves. Villa moves here are full-day jobs with a larger crew, especially when furniture is being moved in from several rooms and a storage room.
Six to eight bedroom mansions on large plots. These need a survey first, a bigger team, fragile and high-value item packing, and often a two-day schedule. Tell us early and we will plan it properly.
You can book one service or the whole move. Most Jubail Island customers combine two or three of these.
Confirm access rules. Apartment blocks at Jubail Terraces may require a lift booking, a move-in permit or a deposit. Villa communities can have their own rules on truck access. Ask your landlord, developer or community manager at least a few days ahead.
Plan around the heat. From June to September we start early. Moving in the morning is easier on the crew, and it protects wooden furniture, electronics and plants.
Keep valuables with you. Passports, jewellery, laptops and documents travel in your car, not on the truck.
Empty and defrost appliances. Fridges and freezers should be emptied and switched off the day before.
